Aims and Scope

Launched in 1964, Journal of the Geological Society of Korea is the official journal of the Geological Society of Korea, and is abbreviated as ‘J. Geol. Soc. Korea’. The journal publishes research articles, short notes, technical reports, and reviews in Korean and English in all fields of geoscience including mineralogy, petrology, hydrogeology, geophysics, seismology, geochemistry, paleontology, Paleoclimatology, structural geology, volcanology, stratigraphy, sedimentology, quaternary geology, geoheritage, environmental geology, economic geology, petroleum geology, marine geology, remote sensing, planetary geology, geological data science, general geology etc.
